OUR STORY

NAAAIS was founded by Olav van Lede in 2020 after the home of an acquaintance partly burnt down when an overheated charger caught fire in the bedroom. On the look for fire prevention for his own house, after being warned by this incident, he noticed that he could not find anything suitable to fit his interior.After having sold his international design label JOKJOR, Olav and his partner Lousanne decided to fulfil this need by designing attractive fire devices themselves; certified fire devices that do not scream ‘DANGER’ but devices that actually look good and fit in every surrounding. NAAAIS was born.

OUR APPROACH

We trust that beautiful, well-designed products will find their way faster to people’s homes and surroundings. The more people get tempted to purchase fire prevention because of the fact that it just looks good, the more people will be capable of acting in the sudden event of danger and the more lives and belongings will be saved. That’s why we make fire prevention devices accessible and attractive for a larger audience.

At NAAAIS we believe that beautiful, high-quality products with added value can (and must) be made in an honest and sustainable way. With every decision we make we look at the impact we have and the contribution we can make to make everyday life better. Not only for ourselves but for the whole chain; design for a better world. For that reason, we only work with factories that are BSCI, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 certified; factories that meet all regulatory requirements and look after their workers and the environment.
